You may receive an error Warning Nameserver failure for suspended domain if you have registered or transferred a domain and the name servers associated with the domain have not returned any authoritative during ZACR's EPP DNS Authoritative check.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Confirm the name servers associated with your domain.
- Log in to the ZA Domains Reseller Control Panel using your Domain Reseller user name and password.
- Expand Domains from the menu and click on Manage Domains (The search function allows you to search for any part of the domain name, the User Reference, Organization or Expiry Date of a reseller domain name).
- On the Manage Domains page click the functions icon for the domain you wish to confirm the name servers for and click the edit icon.
- On the Edit Domain module note the list of name servers you have assigned to the domain name.
Verify that the name servers you have assigned to your domain are returning authoritative data.

Initiate an EPP Domain Update after resolving the issues with your associated name servers.
- Log in to the ZA Domains Reseller Control Panel using your Domain Reseller user name and password.
- Expand Domains from the menu and click on Manage Domains (The search function allows you to search for any part of the domain name, the User Reference, Organization or Expiry Date of a reseller domain name).
- On the Manage Domains page click the functions icon for the domain you wish to initiate a domain update for and click the Force NS Update button.
