How to cancel a Pending Domain Update

This guide will walk you through the steps required to cancel a pending domain update.
 
  1. Log into the ZA Domains Control Panel using your Domain Reseller user name and password.
  2. On the menu to the left, expand Domains then click on Manage Domains.
  3. Click on the Pending Update tab and locate the domain name you wish to cancel the update for (The search function allows you to search for any part of the domain name, the User Reference, Organization or Expiry Date of a reseller domain name)
  4. Click on the Function icon to the right of the domain name then click on Cancel Update.
The Domain update will be queued and actioned within a few minutes.
 

You can verify that the pending update has been cancelled by querying the domain on the ZACR whois page and checking the Domain Status and Pending Timer Events sections as per the example below.
 
If there are no Pending Timer events then the update has been cancelled.

        ok, autorenew
Pending Timer Events:
        None
